Sunday 24th May 2009; Help for Heroes, Band of Brothers Bike Ride

The band played to entertain the riders during their brunch and entertained supporters on the lawn while the riders were briefed.

Sunday 19th June 2009; MARCH for Life

Although not actually a Horndean Band gig, many female members of Horndean Band helped form a 45 strong marching band to enter the Cancer Research UK "Race for Life" in Portsmouth.  Taking over an hour to complete the 5 kilometre course, and marching and playing the whole distance, the band raised over £6000, and had a great morning.

August Bank Holiday Weekend : Band Camp

At the biggest and best band camp so far, the band and friends and family enjoyed a sunny weekend complete with entertaining the rest of the campsite during our rehearsal, a Saturday night Hog Roast and leading the Bognor Lights Parade.
